Welcome!  
I'm sure that you are wondering what this purse has to do with anything. So let me attempt to explain.
This purse represents the HOPE of mothers all around the globe.
A "Mother's Heart" exists to nurture, protect, teach, and to love.

There is no greater gift than the gift of motherhood.  It's scope encompasses all of life's emotions.

For Mercy,the woman who hand crocheted this purse, HOPE surrounded her "Mother Heart" as she placed it in a box among other handmade items crafted by beautiful, industrious Ugandan women.  This was her only item included in the shipment bound for the USA and to my safe keeping.  This purse captured my immediate attention after the package was opened.  Mercy's "Mother Heart" spoke to mine and I understood that Mercy's simple offering to the contents was as the widows mite, all that she had to give.  Mercy is the mother of 8 children.  She and her husband aren't able to pay the near $300 per year fee for schooling a child in Uganda.  Mercy schools her children at home as best she can.  She has amazing children who are eager to learn.  An opportunity arose for Mercy to send handmade items to me to sell in our local fair.  This purse represents "Mercy's Hope".
